The Blair Witch Project

Warning! Take a motion sickness pill before watching this movie. It's scary but you will feel like throwing up due to the constant jerking of the camera shots. As you probably all know by now, this is a movie made for about $40,000 that has now grossed more than $100 million. Three students making a documentary about a legendary witch in Maryland wander off into the woods and get lost. The film but not the filmmakers is discovered later.  The acting is mostly improvisational. The three actors received some stage directions but otherwise made up their parts.  It's quite well done and builds the suspense nicely. But after following them for a few days in the woods, you wish they would just get killed already or at least put down the cameras so the seasickness can wear off. Don't see this movie if you ever plan to go camping again.
